The Society of Lady Makers was an organization I formed with Tyna Kachnic in January 2016, that ran until 2018. Society of Lady Makers was a social group for woman who make things. From developers to designers, to bloggers, to seamstresses, to welders and DIYers. We welcome any women who consider themselves makers, as well as the people who support them. We believe that good ideas and great collaboration come from making friends in other creative fields.

We were able to programming teaching various skills to women of all ages in the Atlanta area. Our workshops included topics such as woodworking, e-textiles, 3D printing, and laser-cutting. We were proud to partner with other local Atlanta businesses and organizations such as Atlantic Fine Woods, Rails Girls Atlanta, Strongbox West, and Indie Craft Experience.
